The longest golf cart"drives"into Guinness World Records
How long can a golf cart be? Guinness World Records adjudicator Angela Wu could tell you: The record for longest golf cart is 6.68 m (21 ft 11 in) bumper to bumper and was achieved by HSBC Champions. It was measured in Hong Kong, China, on 8 October 2008, and beat the previous record comfortably, which stood at 5.81 m (19 ft 1 in).
Measuring 1.445 m (4 ft 8 in) wide and 2.24 m (7 ft 4 in) in height, and functioning in the same way as a regular cart, this golf cart is called the "Book Mobile", as it has several bookshelves on it.
The bookshelves house books in glass fronted shelves. Those who like golf and books as well could entertain themselves by sitting on the sofa in the golf cart and reading books from the book shelves!
This record breaking golf cart will be used for charity purposes by HSBC.
