10 April – Luoyang City, Henan Province, China. With the energy and dedication of hundreds of students, Luoyang City is now the proud owner of two Guinness World Records. The students created the two Peony-themed paintings for the opening ceremony of the 26th Luoyang Peony Festival.
Students from the Louyang Normal University collaborated to create the "Largest painting by numbers". The painting, which included images of variously colored Peonies, measured an astonishing 510.09 square meters.
At the nearby Luoyang Institute Of Science And Technology, students from this institution worked together to paint the "Longest painting by numbers". This paining was 1.25 meters wide, and measured a stunning 161.73 meters in length.
With these accomplishments well-earned, maybe Luoyang will use their creativity and passion to create an appropriately sized easel, to display their paintings to the world!
